One by one the progressive mayors and college presidents across the south have been chipping away at not only our heritage, but the honor of fallen heroes, many of who died in the great 'War for Southern Independence'. Actually those who would tear down these Confederate Monuments could care less about the statues themselves. It's not about these pieces of stone and bronze stained by the years. It's a power struggle between progressives and conservatives. I thought this was settled, a least for a short while with the election of Donald Trump. I was wrong, and now I fear we are on the losing side once again. Some of us are fighting back. The purpose of this blog is to inform you there is hope. We are attempting to raise funds to erect plaques honoring our fallen Confederate boys in gray. Plaques that will grace the town squares of small towns in the South where they will be welcome. Towns where the voters still have some common sense, unlike those idiots in the large cities and those poor lost young people in our universities. All denotations will be appreciated with the lion's share going to preserve the memory of those who fought and died in that great conflict.

Iran Sees Obama As Another Jimmy Carter

The world watches American presidents and our enemies are quick to see weakness and will always take advantage of any perceived opening a weak president presents. There is no better example than Iran. Under the Carter administration the Shah of Iran (a moderate who had recognized Israel) was forced to allow the Ayatollah Khomeini to return from exile. This return of Khomeini to Iran was the spark needed to begin the Iranian Revolution and the establishment of a Islamic state with Khomeini as its leader. Shortly after Khomeini's rise to power we had the take over of the American embassy by Islamic radicals on Nov. 4, 1979. A weak American president did nothing and the Soviet Union seeing his weakness invaded Afghanistan some two months after the embassy take over. The hostage crisis continued until the first day of the Reagan administration Jan. 20, 1981. Carter was an utter failure with his foreign and domestic policies and the world was watching. And now we come to Obama who is following in the steps of a failed American president and repeating the same mistakes and the Iranians know this and are taking full advantage of this fool we have in office. But possibly even worse is that other enemies are watching and preparing something unexpected, as was the Soviet attack on Afghanistan, something that will come as a result of the new President Carter who is better known as Barack Hussein Obama. Another weakling who is inviting the bullies of the world to try us.

In the three decades since the seizure of the U.S. embassy in Tehran, the rhetoric of revolutionary Islam is little changed. Only now they are building nuclear weapons and the means of delivering them.

Thirty years ago today, November 4, 1979, a group of Iranian “students” shouting “death to America” stormed the U.S. Embassy in Teheran, Iran and took 66 Americans hostage. Though fourteen of the hostages were soon freed, the remaining 52 were held for 444 days. For the American people, it was our introduction to militant Islam. For the Carter administration, intent on “engaging” the regime that replaced Shah Reza Pahlavi, it was a disaster.

The embassy seizure took place just nine months after Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned from exile in France and declared himself “Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.” Though some of those who participated in the takeover subsequently claimed they planned nothing more than a “sit in” like those on U.S. college campuses during anti-Vietnam War protests, the Ayatollah’s most radical followers were soon in control of events.

On Christmas day, less than 2 months after the hostages were seized in Tehran, the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan. President Carter, wracked by intelligence failures and indecision, said he was “shocked and surprised” and boycotted the Olympics.

Over the course of the next year, while the Carter administration dithered, Khomeini and his council of militant clerics created all of the instruments of state control common to revolutionary regimes, but with an Islamic twist. He purged the military and the Iranian civil service, created a massive internal secret police network, a “block warden” system to spy on neighbors, took control of print and broadcast media, rounded up opponents and tried them in “special courts” under Sharia law.

By the spring of 1980, when President Carter ordered our deeply under-funded U.S. military to rescue the hostages held in Tehran, Khomeini was convinced that he was on a divine mission to “purify Islam” and re-establish a “Caliphate” in the “Lands of the Prophet.” When Operation Eagle Claw failed catastrophically on the night of April 24-25 with the loss of 8 American lives – and without the Iranians firing a shot – the Ayatollah claimed it was because Allah was guarding “The Islamic State” and protecting it “from infidels.” He also began predicting an apocalyptic battle against the U.S. and Israel which would destroy “The Great Satan,” and “the Zionist entity.”

Though the hostages were released on January 20, 1981 -- on the eve of Ronald Reagan’s inaugural -- Tehran’s wave of terror didn’t stop. By 1982, despite being engaged in a bloody war with Iraq, the Ayatollah’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had created a proxy force in Lebanon – Hezbollah. Over the course of the next five years Hezbollah terrorists armed, trained and paid for by Tehran hijacked, kidnapped, bombed and killed more Americans than any terror organization on the planet until the attacks of 9/11/01. read more from FOX by Oliver North

Revolution

The REVOLUTION isn't coming the revolution is upon us. Many conservative Americans are going to "Tea Parties", a pathetic and impudent reaction to the massive power grabs now taking place in Washington. They compare themselves to the revolutionary patriots who dressed as Indians and tossed bundles of tea from British merchant ships into Boston harbor--that was an action that caught the attention of those in power in the British Parliament. These "tea parties" will gain no such status. These parties will bear a closer resemblance to a ladies knitting circle than to the revolutionary patriots at Boston. Most on the right are applauding these parties and eagerly anticipating these "momentous" events, thinking they will stir the American people to greater actions and impress their leaders in Washington, and bring about a ground-swell in public opinion that will that will somehow halt the insanity sweeping the nations capital. Sadly, this will not be the case. We on the right have been polite and reasonable for too long while those on the left have been rude and at times even violent. They perceive us as being weak and unwilling to truly stand up for our values. I've come to the conclusion they are right. We discuss, we debate, we seek compromise, we are polite, and I must say now we are wrong and we are losing. We are losing our country, we are losing our heritage, we are losing our children's future, we are losing our backbone, in short we are losers. Those on the left want to destroy all we hold precious--our religion, our individuality, our pride in country, our children's identities, in short all of our most cherished believes and values. They want to install what they believe will be a new socialist Utopian society. One in which individuality will be crushed, one in which the state will indoctrinate our children to accept the new reality, one in which religion will be banned or become a tool of the state, one in which debate and dissension will not be tolerated, one in which guns will not be allowed--except for those in the ruling elite class, one in which all individual freedoms will be regulated and controlled by the all powerful state. And the pathetic answer we on the right have is "tea parties". Those on the left are laughing at us. Unless millions march on the capital and demand those in power listen nothing, nothing will happen. And even then, that may not be enough. Those on the left are willing to fight, willing to go to jail, willing to practice civil disobedience, willing to shout down the opposition, willing to do most anything to gain their goals. And we will have "tea parties". I keep coming back to these because in my eyes they seem so pathetic and comical. I'm sorry to say we can no longer practice descent in our normal passive way---it simply doesn't work.

We live in a time of the 24 hour news cycle and thousands of people gathering on a mall with anti-government signs just doesn't get the attention of a left-leaning news media. It will take more, much more---it will take thousands of acts of civil-disobedience, it will take the burning of pictures of the leftest leaders, it will take offensive posters carried by marchers, I fear it will take more that most on the right are willing to give. These things are not in our playbook, have never been in our playbook , but a new reality is upon us. Conservatives the revolution is upon us, we didn't want it, we cringe from it, its not in our nature. The fight must however, be joined. If not, then all of those brave Americans who have gone before us and fought for our freedoms will have died in vain. We must resist, we must fight---not so much for ourselves, but for those we love, and the values and traditions we cherish and respect. Sadly the enemy is not across the vast oceans, but the enemy is among us and this enemy is determined to destroy those things we hold most precious, this enemy will stop at nothing and his goal is domination, control and extermination of those ideals he finds repugnant. The ideals of God, country, and yes even freedom as we know it.

There are those among us, the "the sunshine patriot, the fair weather soldier" who will never see the approaching dangers and will sit idly by waiting and waiting and hoping things will get better. Things will get better only when we take a real stand, something more than speeches on the green. Words many times fall on deaf ears and only louder sounds can pierce the silence.

No I'm not calling for revolution, all means must be exhausted before that time comes, but let us at least toss the tea overboard as those in Boston Harbor did several hundred years ago and see if this, if this act will accomplish our goal.

Liberty and freedom are precious commodities and must be fought for and many generations of Americans in the past have answered the call when the time came, and answered the toll of the freedom bell. Now is such a time and ask not for "whom does the bell toll". For those on the greens at Lexington and Concord heard the call and saw the approaching danger of those in power in the form of the "brown Bess" and the "Redcoat". And when the smoke had cleared the deaf ear was pierced by "the shot heard round the world".
